Grants
LWPT invests in UK church-based Bible teachers through it grants programme. We offer up to £2,000 for tuition plus £500 for course resources to people who study in the UK towards local church ministry.
Whether your Bible teaching setting is via worship-leading, preaching, house group leadership, youth group leaders, or counselling, LWPT wants to help. We are committed to shaping those who shape congregations.
Vocational grants are available to those who need financial help to enable them to pursue their vocation in ministry, including to those in the early stages of exploring their calling to preach.
Grants can be used towards course fees and materials for any recognised course that enables the applicant to explore or develop their preaching skills. This may include ‘gap year’ style courses as well as continuing professional development courses. It is important to note before making an application, that your church may offer you financial support.
The maximum grant awarded towards studies is £2000.
The maximum grant awarded towards books and resources is £500.
Each year there are two application windows:
1 March to 3 May
1 August to 3 October
Applications received outside of these dates will not be considered.
To apply, download the application form HERE. You must complete all sections of the form for your application to be considered.
After completing the form, return it via email to lwptoffice@lwpt.org.uk or by post to LWPT, Unit 14, Orbital 25 Business Park, Dwight Road, Watford, Herts, WD18 9DA
