Interview with Jane Williams | The Holy Spirit and God’s love

The Holy Spirit: Life, Love, and the Creed

Hosted by Tanya Stead

What does the Nicene Creed reveal about the Holy Spirit and why does it matter for our lives today?

In this thoughtful and enriching conversation, Tanya Stead speaks with theologian and author Dr Jane Williams about her book Giver of Life. Together, they explore the person and work of the Holy Spirit as described in the Creed, and what it means to receive the Spirit as a gift in the life of faith.

Their discussion opens up key themes for believers and churches today:

  • What does the Nicene Creed teach us about the Holy Spirit?
  • How is the Spirit freely given to all believers?
  • How does the Spirit shape us to become more loving, like God himself?
  • What does it mean to live as Spirit-filled disciples in today’s Church?

With clarity and warmth, Jane Williams unpacks rich theological ideas in an accessible way, helping listeners connect doctrine with daily discipleship. She invites us to see the Spirit not as distant or abstract, but as God’s active presence forming, guiding, and transforming us in love.

Insightful and deeply encouraging, this interview offers a fresh vision of life in the Spirit and calls us to grow into the fullness of God’s love.
