Interview with Jacqui Parkinson | Sharing the Bible Through 25 Million Stitches

Author: Tanya Stead

Join Tanya Stead as she sits down with talented textile artist Jacqui Parkinson to discuss her ground-breaking UK exhibition tour. Jacqui’s monumental work brings Bible stories to life through breath-taking textile art, combining vivid dyes, luxurious silks, metallic leathers and gold leaf.

About the Exhibition
Over the past decade, Jacqui has created three awe-inspiring sequences: Threads through Creation, Threads through the Cross, and Threads through Revelation. Together, these 42 panels — crafted with more than 25 million stitches — form one of the largest textile art projects in over 600 years, stretching over 80 meters in length.
