I believe: an environmental conversion

When I left university as a keen young Christian, eager to live my life for Jesus and his kingdom, I would have been astonished if somebody informed me that, 30 years later, I would be working full-time for an environmental charity. In fact, I wouldn’t just have been surprised; I’d have been somewhat worried, and suspected that my Christian life had gone badly off the rails at some point.  It’s not that my student Christian faith was anti-environmental. I believed the world was God’s creation, created good and sustained by God’s power and grace. I loved mountain-walking and birdwatching.
