Chaplains for the Armed Forces : Reward in heaven

We remember mobile phones the size of house bricks and Friden mechanical adding machines. My iPhone has considerably more computer memory and capacity than the early state-of-the-art mainframe computers of the 1960s. The world is changing rapidly. Those of a certain age find it useful to have children and grandchildren who are able to work the TV remote or recover data ‘lost’ while using the computer.
We remember preaching to congregations of over 200, whereas often today a congregation of 25 seems large. We may have embraced changing modern technology with open arms, but somehow we cannot accept the changing nature of church attendance (and ageing congregations).
